Andreas Vogel – Founding Director
Andreas holds a PhD in Computer Science from Humboldt University Berlin. He worked as researcher, entrepreneur and senior executive on a broad range of topics. In 2018, he co-authored SAP’s AI ethics guidelines and recorded additional thoughts on the topic in his blog AI Society Life. Andreas is the founding director of LEGACY – a Web 3 community and platform for capturing and preserving personal, professional and institutional memoirs where he applies AI for radically simplifying the writing of memoirs.

Karl-Heinz Land – Founder and CEO Neuland AI
Karl-Heinz is a 35 years veteran of in the IT industry. Before founding his company Neuland and becoming an author and keynote speaker, he was in management at Oracle and worked for companies such as Microstrategy, BusinessObjects, Grandcentrix and Voiceobjects. With Neuland he has been focusing on the supporting companies to master the digital transformation. More recently, he founded Neuland AI to support companies to unlock the productivity gains from artificial intelligence.

Martin Schmid – Board member Q Development AG
Martin is an experienced entrepreneur and senior executive. In 2020, he co-founded the Q Development AG. Q is an EVM compatible blockchain positioned as the governance blockchain.

Lea HornSenior Consultant and Advisor
Lea is an experienced sales and marketing executive with a deep understanding of digital transformation in the tech and IT industries, including a successful tenure at Meta. She is an entrepreneur and strategic advisor on innovation and emerging technologies, including blockchain and AI. Further, she is an intrapreneur at one of the largest media and professional services companies catalyzing transformative initiatives and strategies from within. Since 2023, she has been a board member of the German Federal Association for the Digital Economy and is driving the strategy for the newly founded Lab Web3.

Kai Schmitz-Hofbauer – Principal Product Manager
Kai holds a PhD in engineering with a focus on software engineering. Over the past 15 years, he has excelled in various positions as a researcher, entrepreneur and product manager focusing on innovative domains. His expertise spans AI & machine learning, cloud computing and Web3 technologies.

Nell Watson, AI Ethics Maestro, IEEE Standards Association
Eleanor ‘Nell’ Watson, a trailblazer in emerging technologies such as machine vision and A.I. ethics, dedicates her work to protecting human rights and infusing ethics, safety, and values that elevate the human spirit into technologies like Artificial Intelligence. As Chair & Vice-Chair of the IEEE’s ECPAIS Transparency Experts Focus Group, and P7001 Transparency of Autonomous Systems committee on A.I. Ethics & Safety, Nell is engineering mechanisms into A.I. to help safeguard algorithmic trust. Nell holds the position of Executive Consultant on philosophical matters for Apple, as well as the President of EURAIO, the European Responsible Artificial Intelligence Office. She serves as Senior Scientific Advisor to The Future Society, and Senior Fellow to The Atlantic Council. In addition, she holds fellowships with the British Computing Society and Royal Statistical Society, among others. Through her public speaking, Nell has inspired audiences to work towards a brighter future at venues such as The World Bank, The United Nations General Assembly, and The Royal Society.
